Ladies and gents, it is with great sadness (and a lot of little relief) that I give you the last Official TMI Thursday. It’s been a great ride, y’all. And I do intend to bring back the occasional TMIT Post Secret Style- those were just too good to let go of.

But henceforth, my crazy tales of embarrassment and horrifying mishaps will occur wherever, whenever they happen on this lil’ blog, and no longer be chained to the ox that is (every) Thursday.

It seems only fitting to combine our other favorite topic round these parts, The Shiz My Boyfriend Says, for the TMIT Grand Finale.

While sitting on the couch…

B: So today, I realized the absolute worst thing you could do to a person.

Me: Do tell.

B: The worst thing you can do: poop in someone’s dryer… and then turn it on. It gets so hot! You could never clean that up. You’d have to throw your dryer away!

Me: Busy day at work, huh?

Axe Murderer is sitting on the windowsill, cat-barking at the birds outside.

B: Get them! Get those evil birds!

She promptly jumps down and enters the litter box.

B: Oh. Well, she’s poopin’ right now. Get ‘em after you’re done poopin’, girl cat! You’ll be more agile after you lose weight!

While sitting on the couch, B starts to get up…

Me: What do you need? I’ll get it for you, sweetheart.

B: I need some POOPING!! You gonna do that for me?!?

While watching “Aladdin” this weekend, we *may* have broken out into song… together. And yes, it was “A Whole New World.” OBVY.

Me: I sang that song in chorus in high school. That’s why I know all the words…

Ladies and gentlemen, I come to you on this perhaps tragic day as the bearer of some heavy, but necessary, news.

This Thursday will be my last TMI Thursday entry here on Livit, Luvit.

I’ll let that sink in.

I know, it seems sudden. But really, it’s not.

I’ve written some 75 posts about bodily functions, sexual mishaps, general over-sharings, and the like. It’s gotten to the point where I’m stressed, where I’m reaching, where I’m hoping something vile and inappropriate will happen at my girlfriend’s bachelorette party, just so I’ll have a post that Thursday.

What?

I’ll be forever grateful for all the bathroom-humor-loving kindred e-souls I met through this, um, *project*… but TMI Thursday, at least for me, has run its course, and I’m hoping to tap out while on top.

(Twss.)

That said, let’s have one last big ass TMIT hurrah, huh? This Thursday, let’s come together, dig deep, and tell that one story we swear we never would. Let’s go nuts! Let’s have one big Never Have I Ever sesh. I’ll bring the popcorn.

Sigh. Some things will never change… it will *always* be TMI up in here.

TMI Thursday: Monday Strikes Again… In The Vagine.

On Monday, I was actually feeling pretty good.

Sure, I knew five days of work were ahead of me. Yes, I had a bit uf da sniffoos. And having twisted my knee during p90x kickboxing was not making for a pleasant sensation.

But still, I felt all right. It’d been a great weekend, I’d slept well, and hey, first world problems, yanno?

So I got my tea and breakfast and settled into my desk, chatting with a coworker about all our other colleagues before they got to the office (and could defend themselves). It was fixing to be a decent day.

And then.

I reached up to open a cupboard over my desk, and…

Well, let’s play this out in slow mo, shall we?

1. The cupboard opens, and I realize that something was leaning against the inside of the door. I don’t know how, since this wasn’t an airplane and “the contents of the overhead bins” should not be shifting during any flights.

2. Said object tumbles out onto my desk. Quite angrily, if you ask me.

3. It becomes apparent that said object is on a collision course with my cup of scalding fucking hot English tea.

4. Like the grand finale in MouseTrap, said object strikes cup, cup tips over…

5. And spills its entire 460 degree contents into my lap of very tender, ohsopink Scotch-Irish skin.

And so. In a matter of a very horrible 2 seconds, I went from being “that quirky, mildly entertaining girl who sometimes doesn’t think before she speaks but hey, she gets her stuff done” to “that weirdo who scalded this shit out of her VAGINA at work.”

Awesome sauce.

My coworker stared in shock and disbelief for a few moments, before she shook her head with a deep sense of pity, and said:

“Go home.”

It was meant to be a gesture of compassion, but I could see the disdain in her eyes. I gathered my things silently, including my seemingly urinated-on crotch, and slunk out of the building to head home to my non-judgy cats and a very soothing Tori and Dean marathon.

When I got back to work on Tuesday, we didn’t speak of The Incident. I walked in, sat down, and simply said:

“Do over?”

“Do over,” she replied. And I turned to my computer, and began answering emails. Because, like it or not…

Me and my scorched vagine?

We’re in this klutzy-ass life together.

Every now and then, we have to go and see these things called doctors.

Wait! Don’t go! I promise this isn’t about healthcare!

(But by the end, you might wish it were.)

Ahem.

I had a simple physical scheduled last week. Unfortunately, it turned out to be an incredibly busy day at work, but appointments can take weeks to get at my doc, so I sacrificed my lunch hour and prayed it wouldn’t take much longer than that.

As I was rushing out of the office, I realized that although I’d had my morning coffee, I had NOT had my morning TCOB. There was no time, however- never enough time, Zack!!- so I mentally shrugged and raced to the doctor’s, hoping for the best.

By the time I was verifying my insurance at the front desk, I was dancin’. You know what I mean… the pee pee dance with clenched cheeks? Prairie doggin’ it? Turtle heading?

Yeah. That.

I did a jig while the desk clerk slowwwly processed my co-pay, and slumped into a chair in the waiting room to assess my options. Finally, I spotted the bathroom across the room…

Of course. A onesie.

Sigh.

I had a brief internal struggle, but my body quickly beat out my mind in the “over matter” battle. Trying to look casual, I sauntered over and nonchalantly closed the door behind me… and went into action.

A cool minute and a spritz of Lysol later, I emerged as calmly as I’d gone in, and innocently plopped back down in my chair, hoping to appear engrossed in the May 2007 edition of GQ.

Approximately 30 seconds later, a very proper and professional looking middle-aged man set down his coffee and headed for the restroom.

Say it with me, in “Legend of the Seeker“-style slow-mo:

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

Alas, there was nothing to be done. As I waited anxiously for his inevitable departure and judgmental stare, I pondered escape routes and prayed for my name to be called.

And then, from the heavens above… a miracle. An elderly man got up and swung the bathroom door open before any of us spectators could say a word.

An exchange so uncomfortable I can’t quite put it into words ensued, as the flustered old man decided to hold the door open while he apologized profusely, rather than, um, CLOSING IT.

Somehow, I managed to hide my smile, but inside I did a happy dance of epic proportions. The last thing anyone would be thinking about now was what the girl in the cute purple dress had done in there. Upon the man’s departure, instead of me receiving the Judgy Eye? I gave him one of pitying sympathy…

And all was right with the world.

“I practice yoga, pretty much daily. I love it. It is so much of who I am and all that I wish to be.

But without getting all transcendentally enlightened on your collective asses this morning, I would like to tell you a little story about a particular yoga practice I had, many years ago.

I was in my friend’s studio, taking her class, which I do weekly. During this class, we were doing inversions. Handstands, shoulder stands and headstands. Now, once we were up in headstand and comfortable enough, my teacher/friend encouraged us all to try moving our legs around, whilst standing on our heads. Some girls crossed their legs, some went into full lotus, and some stayed just as they were.

I decided to make a big ol’ V shape with my legs. Man, it felt great! I hung out like that for awhile, feeling the stretch and the challenge, taking in the pose and all that…. Then, naturally, as all the blood was in my body was now pooled into my face, rendering me as red-faced as Chef Ramsay when someone overcooks lamb chops, I figured I needed to come down out of it. Slowly, I brought my legs back together, lowered them down and came out of headstand, finally resting in child’s pose for a few seconds.

Then I rolled over onto my back. That’s when it happened.

I queefed.

I queefed long and loud. I queefed like there was no tomorrow. My vagina did her finest impression of a waterlogged tuba.

The fundamental difference between queefs and farts is this: You can totally hold in a fart.

And everyone heard. One sly bitch even gave me the side eye and a smirk, letting me know that she knew it was no ordinary fart.

I guess the ol’ Love Tunnel gasped for air during the pose.

Suffice it to say, I don’t attempt that variation anymore….”

A couple days ago, am email from a dear friend- who shall remain anonymous- popped up in my inbox with the ever so simple title, “TMI.”

Uh oh.

And, my friends… it did not disappoint.

So a couple of my friends are taking these weight loss/multi vitamin supplements that they absolutely swear by. I’m always skeptical of these things (for obvious reasons), but they talked my ear off for a good 20 minutes till I finally caved and said I’d try them and my friend gave me enough for 3 days.

Then came the warning. The first day you take them, they said, you’d have massive amounts of energy… and at 3PM on the dot, be near a bathroom. Trust us, your stomach will rumble and you will have seconds to get to a bathroom.

Ok, how bad can it be? Considering I’m not the most regular of people, I figured this might actually be a good thing for my digestive system.

The next day I take them in the morning, and lo and behold my appetite is diminished and I have a lot of energy, and as predicted at 3PM my stomach started rumbling. I ran to the bathroom and took one of the most massive and loudest poops of my life. I mean I was in that bathroom for at least 30 minutes.

The second day, I took them again, and again at 3PM big poo, but less… intense.. than the day before.

The next day was a Monday. I was a bit concerned about having to poo at work, but my hall is pretty quiet so I figured there was no fear. At 2:45 my stomach starts to rumble. I was in the middle of something urgent and started to get concerned but I made it to the bathroom. I get there, run to the last stall and, thankfully, I’m alone. You never realize how loud a poop is until you’re in an office bathroom praying no one comes in. I was almost done, and very quiet, when someone came in. She, whoever she was, takes the first stall and immediately starts farting and pooping simultaneously. The noises coming out of this woman (like the noises I was likely making not 2 days before) were worthy of a movie. Like the battleship scene in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle.

I wasn’t finished, but I couldn’t just get up either. That’s when I realized because I’d been so quiet up till then she must’ve thought she was alone.

Then came the stand off.

We were both trying to hold it for several minutes waiting to see what the other would do. Considering I’d been there longer, I had the lead so I quickly finished my business and got up washed my hands and ran out of there as fast as I could without even glancing in her stall’s direction.

So yeah, definitely TMI.

And, once I stopped laughing, my response…

Hahahaha!!!!!!!! Amazing! I had a stand off of my own today, actually, but nothing that drastic.

And I totally won.

But then I realized I was wearing ZEBRA flats, so if she so much as peeked… I’m done for.

So. You perhaps may remember that I went to visit my GBF Thomas in NYC a few months ago.

I did not blog this then, because I thought perhaps I’d gotten away with it and he hadn’t seen me. Win!

Except, then I went out to LA to surprise him for his birthday.

And, over a perfectly drunken brunch, it was disclosed to me that he had totally seen me, and possibly even (lovingly) mocked me, and, well, ain’t no point in keeping it under wraps anymore!

The scene:

We started out drinking tall boy PBRs in the Village at, oh, noon? We moved from bar to bar to Five Guys to his apartment for a boozy Rachel Zoe marathon to bar to club to bar, drinking all the while.

Little known fact about me: I am old. No, seriously. I may love to drink with friends, but we have to start EARLY because I inevitably crash at 11pm. Not kidding. My body just goes all, BEDTIME!!!! ZOMG WHY ARE YOU VERTICAL RIGHT NOW?!? FIND A CAB IMMEDIATELY AND GET US OUT OF HEEEERE!!!!

Also? I can no longer take shots. At all. Even a little. (Maxie, for the love of the 8 pound 6 ounce baby Jesus, please accept this statement. I am begging you.)

ANYHOO. It’s now 2:30am and my soul is dying slowly as Thomas drags me into yet another fabulous gay bar. At this point, I may love him dearly, but we’ve been drinking for 3,214 hours and BED. GIVE IT TO ME NOW. IN THE FACE.

We pull up to the bar and I hear my darling dear say,

“Two beers… and two shots of tequila, please!”

My stinkiest of eyes did nothing to deter him and his desire to relive our nostalgic Chapel Thrill-tequila-drinking ways.

And I’m a fucking trooper, y’all. So I downed it.

But, you know how sometimes your body just flat out rejects the idea of something? You know… physically.

So it was like that, and that damn shot of tequila was sitting in my throat and I knew I had less than 30 seconds to decide WHERE to direct the imminent ejection.

My options were grim. The bar was wall to wall gay boys, with no possible passage to a probably occupied unisex bathroom. My beer was full, leaving no room for excess fluid and obviously, I was incapable of drinking any of it to make room. And, of course, there was the matter of discretion to consider.

With the clock ticking down (I’m like the Jack Bauer of puking), I covertly sloshed a fair amount of my beer onto a nearby counter, “took a sip”- AKA expelled the tequila impatiently resting in my gullet, and set what looked like a full beer once again on the counter.

I can only hope no one mistook it for their own drink.

But, um… at least it was Patrón?

Yesterday morning, I made a pot of coffee before B got up, so that he could wake up to fresh coffee. There are few things that excite the man as much, and I really should do it more often, if only to hear his squeals of joy.

An hour later or so, he looked over at me tenderly, and said this:

B: “Baby?

Me: “Yes, dear?”

B: “I need to go T.C.O.B.“

Me: “Uhhh. Okay… thanks for the status update? We have Google Buzz for that now, though.”*

B: “Well, I was just wondering if you needed to pee first.”

Me: “Awwwwww. No, I’m good. You go right ahead. But thanks.”

Now that is what I call true love and consideration for one’s partner.

Today’s TMI Thursday comes from one of my Midwestern besties… and it is reason 4,519 why I freaking LOVE HER FACE. There are no words… well, actually, there are. They’re just hers, instead of mine. Please to enjoy!

well hello kids, i’m alexa and i write the blog cleveland’s a plum.

now i love my blog in all its plum glory but i’m not exactly how you say, anonymous. and while i have little to no shame about the story i’m about to tell, it’s way too TMI for me to be able to post it on my own blog.

enter lilu, who when i told her this story on sunday graciously invited me to take over her awesome blog today. and much like when maxie let me take over her blog in september for my first TMI thursday this post involves some antics with the opposite sex.

let’s set the stage – this incident occurred just this past saturday night when i threw an absolutely crazy girls night out sponsored by Dove where the cocktails were a flowing to say the least.

so much so that my roommate needed to go home early, but alas she forgot her keys at home…. alexa to the rescue.

“don’t lock the door steph, don’t forget. remember, don’t lock the door or we won’t be able to get in!”, i repeated over and over.

cue two hours later and i’m rolling with a crew six deep to come back to my apartment to eat pepperoni bread. but of course she forgot to leave the door unlocked and was in such a deep pass out state that she didn’t wake up.

you knew that was coming right? well how about there’s also some video proof of said lock out posted on my friend allison’s blog – classic.

but this isn’t the point of the story.

you see because of the lock out my hook up location plans needed to be changed. thankfully my old friend who i was planning on yada yada yada-ing with was in town for a wedding and conveniently had a room at a very nice downtown hotel a mere few blocks from my apartment.

a cab was hailed, clothing was removed, much sexy time was had, and then the pass out portion of the evening ensued.

the next thing i remember i was when i “came to” in the hallway of the hotel – i.e. NOT in the hotel room, and was completely naked other than a pair of black underwear.

NAKED! as in no bra, big boobs, NAKED!

as i groggily try to figure out what the hell i was doing in the hallway of a nice hotel with no clothes on i start to freak out. i have ZERO idea what room i came out of and how the eff did i end up out there anyway?

my only guess is that i mistook the hotel room door for the bathroom door. but regardless of how i got out there, all i knew was that i needed back in the right hotel room stat.

i’m stumbling around for what seems like forever in what seems like circles in the hotel hallway without a single plan of action, when i hear someone walking down the hall.

i sneak around the corner hoping he won’t see me with no such luck. next thing i know he’s standing in front of my asking if i’m ok to which i reply, “oh yes, i’m totally fine, heading to my room right now” – as i’m holding my ginormous boobs in my hand.

he buys it and begins to walk towards the elevator.

but that interaction puts me in full out drunk panic mode, almost on the verge of tears, because i simply can’t go down to the lobby in just my underwear.

i start looking for a throw rug, or a potted plant, or curtains or something to cover myself up. i start trying to open random doors to no avail until a miracle happens.

i find an open utility closet – with stacks and stacks of table cloths.

i quickly grab a circular white linen table cloth, wrap it around myself like a towel and B line it for the elevator.

thinking back on it now i SO should have turned it into a toga – next time.

as i saunter through the lobby of the hotel like i own the place, barefoot and only half naked now, i’m happy that it’s 5 (?) in the morning and only a handful of people are mulling about.

i head to the front desk, inform the gentleman behind the counter that i’m locked out of my friends room and ask if he could please give me a key and while he’s at it remind me of what exactly the room number was again…

as he made the key he couldn’t stop giggling, and right before he handed it to me he asked, “you don’t have any identification on you do you?”.

no smart ass, i don’t.

after quite the epic naked ordeal i finally get back into the hotel room with ease, strip off the table cloth and crawl back into bed laughing to myself as if i was never gone.

if ever i’m given the opportunity, i would do inappropriate things to get my hands on that surveillance camera footage.

It’s a short one today because frankly, this week has wiped. Me. OUT. Between #loveharder and the 20SB awards, I have been working so hard and feeling so much that, well, yesterday just could never be topped. So I’m gonna take it easy today, if you don’t mind, and say a simple THANK YOU, thank you so much, all of you, for everything. Except for making me cry. Which didn’t happen. No it didn’t. No it didn’t! (But if it had, you’d all be in a lot of trouble.)

Enough schmoop! Without further ado, here is your TMI nugget for the day.

I occasionally have Fridays off from work, which is just freaking lovely, let me tell you. The one problem with this is whereas I’m usually the one getting up early and clunking around making noise while B tries to sleep, on these particular Fridays, the role is reversed.

And apparently, last week, he decided to get his revenge.

After letting his alarm go off 9,367 times, he finally crawled out of bed. He clomped around the room, gathering clothes and shoes and coats and hats and nuts and berries and I DON’T KNOW, BUT IT SEEMED LIKE A LOT OF CRAP.

Finally he left the room, and I listened to him roll around with what must have been two full grown tigers as he led a Siegfried & Roy routine around our living room, throwing jingle balls for Murray to fetch (which he DOES- wtf??) and dodging Axe Murderer‘s murderous blows.

By the time he got to the bathroom, I’d given up. After he relieved himself, I went to do the same while he climbed into the shower, and…

Me: *sniff sniff* “Baby! Did you fart while you were peeing??”

B: “Of course I did. I always get in a good morning fart when I pee.”

Me: “SO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING TO ME IS THAT I AM SITTING IN YOUR FART CLOUD RIGHT NOW?!!?!?!”

B: “I didn’t tell you to sit there.”

Me: “You also didn’t tell me NOT to!!!”

B: *evil chuckle*

Sigh. At least I spent the rest of the day in nopants on the couch while he suffered at work.

I’ll take it.

If you haven’t noticed, B and I have a couple of cats.

(Pauses for laugh track)

I know, I know. But truly, I love the little bastards, because they always make us laugh with their antics and ridiculous facial expressions, and you can’t deny they’ve provided endless fodder for this here blog.

*Whispers*: In fact, that’s why we got them. Don’t tell B. He’s kind of attached.

Anyhoo, while their shenanigans [insert pistol-whip here] are usually adorable and make for much mirth, they sometimes often retaliate for being laughed at.

Soap opera voice: This. Is one of those stories.

It was a dark and cold night… last week. In the middle of a ten day vacation, the couch had by this time contorted to my body shape, and held me tenderly to its bosom like a grizzly mama bear. B was out with the boys, and the cats and I were sharing a romantic evening in the soft glow of the Christmas tree.

Somewhat dehydrated from a few bottles glasses of wine, I took advantage of a commercial break from my “Bad Girls Club” marathon to get a crisp, cool glass of water from the kitchen.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh….”

I set the glass down gingerly on the blessed couch’s endtable, and decided to hit the restroom as well.

Relieved, I returned to my cocoon and nestled into the many blankets, happy as a fat kid at a Golden Corral buffet. The show returned, and I instantly became absorbed with cheering Portia on while she decked uber-bitch Natalie in the face, many, many times. Axe Murderer poised on the endtable, as though rooting with me, and we were as one for a moment in time.

After the rumble, my voice was a bit hoarse. Thankfully, I reached over for the refreshing glass of water, and took a healthy swig to clear my throat. I went in for another, and focused on the bottom of the glass as I drank.

Where I could clearly make out a tiny clump of pop-rock looking pebbles, held together by some sort of clay.

I put the glass down, puzzled for a moment. What on earth…

And then Axe Murderer walked across my lap.

Leaving little, wet paw prints the whole goddamn way.

I guess she took the opportunity to relieve herself at the same time I did.

Excellent.

Good to know our litter actually does “clump”.

Sigh.

Last weekend, B and a friend headed to the Leesburg outlets while I met the girls for brunch.

“Buy me something!” I yelled, as I left our apartment in search of bacon and champagne.

I know. I’m subtle like that.

A few hours later, we reconvened at home, where the proud little five year old in him showed me his shiny new toys; a lovely suit, a new tie, etc. And then…

“I got you something too!” He beamed, and tossed a bag onto the bed. I scampered over and tore it open, to find what seemed to be a pair of running shorts.

“Oh, thanks babe! You remembered I need new running stuff!” I shook them open and held them up to see what they were like.

And quickly realized that something was wrong. Very, very wrong. As in, too-much-material and no-leg-holes wrong.

“Um… did you just buy me a skort?” I asked accusingly, and immediately twittered.

It turned out to not be a skort, but a “running skirt” with underoo netting, which my running pro friend Kbo assured me was all the rage now in Charleston. So I packed it up the next morning, intending to give it a try at my lunch hour workout.

Noon rolled around and I begrudgingly headed down to the gym. I suited up in my workout attire, skirt and all.

It was (bulky) fuscia with running stripes… and I looked absolutely ridiculous.

But when has that ever stopped me from anything before?

Now, I’ve worked out enough where I know you’re better off using the restroom beforehand, rather than experiencing the need during. So, I popped into a stall, and delighted with the easy-access design of the skirt for the first time, I whipped it up, and, ahem, began to, ah,well… tinkle, if you will.

(Most of you probably won’t.)

Immediately, I felt that something was very, very wrong. And also my thighs were kind of hot. And not in a good way.

I looked down, and realized that while the skirt did indeed flip up easily for accessibility…

The underwear netting beneath it certainly did not.

Awk.

Ward.

Sigh. All I can say is, if anyone asks me when the last time I peed my pants was, I’m totally going to lie… because I was NOT wearing pants. I was wearing a goddamn running skort that can go get the freaking swine flu, for all I care.

So THERE!
