(Apologies for the above. It was simply too horrendous NOT to share.)
Well now, it’s just not like me to let a holiday go by without a celebration of sorts. Especially a holiday that means we don’t have to go to work on a Monday. BLAM!
So Thursday, Sept. 2nd (so you peoples heading out of town have no excuse), come on down to the Sign of the Whale to celebrate our day of freedom from Labor and hopefully, the end to this hellish summer weather.
Specials include $2 domestics, $2 rails, and $4 sweet tea vodka drinks (just for us, because we’re special and the SotW people are freaking awesome).
So make sure to come on out and wear your best AMERICAN!!!
Love,
LiLu & Liz

I WILL SEE IF I CAN SQUEEZE THIS INTO MY BUSY SOCIAL SCHEDULE AS I AM A VERY IMPORTANT PERSON.
Isn’t this a week early?
Next Thursday’s only the 26th, right?
I apologize for my previous comment. Apparently since I’m an organizer, that means I have to show up. WHO KNEW, AMIRITE?!
I cannot believe I was almost going to be in D.C. for Labor Day… gah! Life kicks my ass sometimes.
I know you’re just doing this so you can wear your tank top.
I gave you a blog award!

This makes me wish I lived in D.C., sounds like the most awesome Labour Day of all time
Especially if you have that glittery gif as a blown-up poster put up all around the bar haha.
I am SO there. It will be the very last American holiday I celebrate for a while, so you can guarantee to see my face behind a tall frosty beer/vodka drink. It will also be my last day of work, before I leave for the UK. Double reason to celebrate. Oh yes, I don’t care if I have to swim my way there, I will be there.
Loves it.
I’d love to go but yeah, im going to be one of those out of town mofos. enjoying a nice vacation and stuff.
One day i’ll see you in person again. I totally missed you and your gang a couple of weeks ago in NYC by a couple of minutes. : (
I really wish I were still in DC so I could go! Looooove Sign of the Whale.
I love the Sign of the Whale- maybe we’ll just have to stop by!!

Dee
I’ll be celebrating Labour Day by visiting your country!!
