Because then at least we’d HAVE some round these parts.
I’m not sure what it is lately. My own mother recently asked me if I just wasn’t writing about my life…
Or if it was just *that* boring.
(In not those exact words, perhaps, but, yanno. A daugter knows.)
The problem is, my life IS boring… boring, and simple, and drama free, and oh so goddamn CONTENT.
I have my man. My amazing friends, both near and far. A couple of furbabies that make me laugh for hours on end, a couch made for my ass to sink into, and Netflix streaming in all the watch-instantly Dexter and Friday Night Lights a girl could ever want.
Life is good.
Maybe a little *too* good… because I am stumped, people. What am I supposed to share with you? The glorious view of my cat’s butt from the couch and how happy it makes me?
Oh, shit… I already did that.
No shame. ... (Okay, a LITTLE shame.)
Of course, there was this past Saturday night, when we had to beat down some d-bag in AdMo for calling random chicks pregnant on the street, before dancing the night away with some odd ducks wearing fanny packs and fighting off the 21 year old trying- very poorly, I might add- to roofie Lexa.
Maybe my life isn’t as boring as I think…

I have this dilemma often. It sounds like we indeed have the same life. (Although ours involves a little more DVR and video games than NetFlix play it nows.. and we have a dog, but whatever, still the same!) that being said, however, I can truly say I like our lives. We rule.

Love Netflix streaming. I have Friday Night Lights in my queue, but haven’t started watching it yet. Apparently I need to get on that.
I think sometimes when you write about your life and so many things become public, you just need to retreat from that for awhile. It feels like life is less “your life” then, and there’s nothing wrong with taking a break for a bit to live your life on your own, without every one of us along for the ride.

Boring? Um, no…your life isn’t boring. Boring is MY life. Last time I went out with the girls, no one tried to roofie any of us…although we think one guy kept sniffing my friend’s hair. And as for the Netflix queue, at least it doesn’t show you’ve watched Care Bears:The Movie 5 times in a 3 day period.

Dude, your blog is hilarious. And boring can definitely be good! I traded in my high stress life in LA for a very BORING life in Africa in a bamboo hut and I have to say… it is pretty awesome.
