The fountain at Bellagio is okay, but for full awesomeness I suggest the rides at the top of Stratosphere. There's one that dangles you over the side. Awesome.

You'll have SO much fun, it's just going to be ridiculous.

My favourite was on my way to vegas last year there was a huge group of young guys getting on the plane, and after all of them had shouted and pumped fists about why they were excited to go, one burst out "I DON'T HAVE TO BE A DAD THIS WEEKEND! VEGAS!!!" and looked like he was so happy he could cry. lol The city does strange but wonderful things to people.

i say "cliche" it up. the bellagio pictures are gorgeous, screaming on the strip is always fun, and you know how those things became tourist cliches? someone did them once, they were fun, they told all their friends how fun they were, so the friends tried -- and thus we have fun attractions. the end.

HAVE FUN IN VEGAS!! I SOOOOOO wish I was going.

I like all the things I like specifically because I LIKE them. I say things like this all the time because I'm not "supposed" to like certain things (Miley Cyrus, Twilight, etc) because they are popular and cliche. But I like them. And I don't care if 800million other peeps do as well. Enjoy the Bellagio and Vegas and I'll be the cliche jealous person that didn't get to go, with pride, here in Texas!

Ay-men. I was born and raised in what amounts to a giant tourist trap, and I still maintain that the best thing for Come-From-Aways to do is check out the beaches, the Anne of Green Gables house and eat some sort of seafood. Or at the very least have a beer in one of the ancient pubs. Nothing wrong with a good cliche.

(Says the girl who wants to have her birthday at Medieval Times. I might be biased due to my own lame-ness.)

There's nothing wrong with doing something cliched, but sometimes because so many people do it, the experience becomes unpleasant. Like in Vegas, you can sautee in three thousand other tourists's sweat in Margaritaville in order to pay five times as much for blended KoolAid'n'vodka, or you can hike a bit off The Strip to Casa di Amore, a cool Old Vegas restaurant that no one ever goes to because it may or may not be a mob cover. You can pay through your nose to get to the top of the Stratosphere, look around, shrug, and come back. Or you can head to Madame Tussaud's with your biffles and spend the evening taking pictures of you grabbing Tom Jones's crotch.

I've got nothing against living out cliches, but it should be because you really want to -- not for lack of imagination or because you haven't researched some cool alternatives.

Anyway, as a Vegas native, I can assure you, the biggest Vegas cliche is the one most worth doing: drinking yo' ass off. Have a great time at Bloggers in Sin City, dude!

I'm jealous of everyone going to Bloggers in Sin City! I was hoping to go, but there is too much going on this summer, so maybe next year!

I'm looking forward to reading all of the tweets and/or blog posts about Vegas!
