So hi, and ummm I really lead a pretty boring, I guess normal life. I had a baby when I was still a baby, and then got married when I was still pretty young, and although I don’t regret any of it, I feel I really missed out on some fun times! So I love to live thru others (M-F, 8-5) and I can do that here.
Hi! Haha love it. I promise to keep up the antics!
I came up with a great okay more like gross or whatever…story about myself. So there I am taking a shower and when I get out my 4 yr old daughter is standing there to my surprise.
Daughter: Ummm, mom? Why do you have hair there?
Me: Umm, because that is what happens when you get older, and umm it’s winter, so I kinda let it go.
Daughter: Running as fast as she can out of the bathroom, screaming and crying, I don’t want to get old and all hairy!!
I was a little mortified at first but then justified the whole situation because:
1. I am married, and
2. We have three kids, one of which sleeps in our bed with us, so
3. Unfortunatly, (or not sometimes) we don’t do “it” a whole lot,
and finally, hey it was winter, so it’s okay, right?!?!? Or not?!?!
I just went down to NC for a friend’s engagement party and announced to her that I’d shaved my legs for it. Because YES, it is winter and that was a BIG DEAL.

Dear LiLu…I have commented for a while, I believe in the power of words and feel as if reading these blogs complete’s me (I did the hand motions too). something interesting???? I am drinking a rum n diet coke with ice cubes that I froze mint leaves into with lime juice so I didn’t have to cut the times and have a nasty wedge in my cup.
Other lurkers..commenting lets us bloggers know that you read our stuffs…it lets us know good bad or neutral that there is a reaction of sorts to our ramblings…

I come because this is like getting to sit at the cool kids’ table even though I’m totally all Ugly Betty in comparison. And I love your kitties. And the shiz your BF says. And the fact that you link to people like the “I pushed it out” gal which had me near fainting I was laughing so hard.
And… my little odd nugget o’ weirdness is that I got married the summer before my senior year of high school (in secret) and since I went to boarding school it was almost whole year before I moved in with my husband. But in spite of being married, I didn’t have a date for senior prom (hubs wouldn’t go with me… this was an omen of things to come) and I was voted by my senior class “Least likely to ever get married”…

I’m a rubbish lurker as I nearly always end up putting something down on blogs, a bit like a dog marking where I’ve been…..
I was trying to think of a lurker fact for you …….lets think
The closest I can get is – I try and follow a three strikes rule on commenting…..If a blogger does not respond to three comments in a row, even just an acknowledgment that someone has made an effort to respond to their blog I don’t bother commenting again (unless they draw me in in the future with a great subject)
I agree with the three strikes rules. Especially since my comments are generally the way I visit other people!
