This week, my work counterpart unexpectantly called out sick… for the ENTIRE WEEK. Needless to say, doing the work of two people has not made this my favorite five days. Even worse, I was supposed to be sitting at home today, painting my toenails and torturing my cats while I watched the premiere of Jersey Shore I taped last night. Alas, I am sitting at my desk, plotting different routes to cropdust the office just for revenge-y shits and giggles.
But my misfortune is your gain, lovers. Let me show you a few things that my sympathetic friends sent to me to make this no good very bad week better!

I love that your screen is snowing. Nice touch. I have a program that I install and run on people’s computers when they’re absent but forget to lock them. It makes the desktop snow. It’s especially funny when I install the “ants” program and have them wander the desktop eating icons. In case you missed it, yes, I can be an ass sometimes.

The first time I saw that Miller Lite commercial I almost fell off my couch laughing. The misdirection was almost, but not quite, as good as the end of The Usual Suspects. After I pulled myself together, I called my friend who met his wife on eHarpy: He’d seen it too and was still laughing.
Exactly. It was the element of surprise, with a side of perfect execution, that had me rolling for the next five minutes straight.

The surprised kitty video made me realize just how useless my cat actually is.
First, I’m mad at someone for me just finding you. Probably me, so I’ll address that with myself when I leave here. And, I’ll give you a true story. I’m at the waterpark with my teenage son and now ex-wife. There’s a healthy mix of African Americans (I’d say 50/50) and we were waiting in line for a slide. Then, my now ex (his stepmom) says to him, quite loudly, “would you ever date a black girl?” Ahhhh!!!! Shut up!!! Shut up!!!! And she’s all, “What? All I asked was…” Shutup!!! Shutup!!!! “But I was just asking him…” Lady, I’m about to punch you. Shut the hell up. And I shit you not, I left her about 2 weeks later and that was a big cause. Not only for her complete lack of tact (which was an ongoing problem,) but for even suggesting to my son that it should matter. Thank you for Cartman and letting me share a paifnul moment in my history. I’ll be back to annoy you, for sure.
