There are no words… all I’m going to say is that this was 150% B’s idea. He’s been pushing for it for a while, actually, on the grounds that Axe Murderer “should be able to murder things in her natural habitat, since SHE IS A KILLING MACHINE.”

I would say he’s just trying to get revenge for the time she made him pee on himself, but when you see the pictures… well, his love for his little darling murderer is palpable.

Anyway, what it basically boils down to, is my life = MADE.

(Please, please, if you can… click the four little arrow thingies to make it full screen. It’s pretty much the difference between HD and, well, NOT.)

It’s Leash Time, Bitches. from LiLu Livitluvit on Vimeo.

And for the 90% of you shaking your heads at us sadly and wondering if you can ever come back here…

I don’t blame you. But if you really don’t find that funny even the teeniest bit, I’m going to have to alert the government as to your status.

Which is COMMUNIST.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ZING!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t mind me. I’m a little crazy from having watched that video 9,000 times last night and laughing myself into the pee-pants zone every. single. TIME.

Happy Monday, chickadees.

What about Murray?

Also, my neighbor’s cat likes to use my flower bed as a litter box and looks like Axe Murderer….hmmm…now, I’m wondering.

She was too afraid to even consider evacuating her bowels, I think.

2 jeff October 5, 2009 at 7:25 am

cat on a string: priceless
if i may be so bold, i wrote a short vignette about the social life of cats awhile ago. please to enjoy.

Oh, love. We are two peas.

3 Alina October 5, 2009 at 7:50 am

Oh my! you mentioned awhile back you were worried B loves the cats more than you. I can see why.

TOO FUNNY

I thought so. ;-)

4 stoneskin October 5, 2009 at 7:54 am

Communist? You what? Communists are sick anyway….you could call me a liberal if I hated it, or a sniggering mouse if you like, or even a dawg. But if I was to tell the truth, I have a little smile on my face.

I call that a WIN.

5 bethany October 5, 2009 at 7:59 am

At 2:10, I swear, if the cat could speak, she would have said, “What the hell are you taking a picture for? Can’t you see what he’s putting me through? Put down the MF’ing camera and help me here…”

At 2:26 (?), I swear she’s saying, “What the hell is wrong with you, human?”

That did make me laugh. Perfect music selection.

I know, right? I was going for “as cheesy as possible”.

6 Patrick October 5, 2009 at 8:03 am

Aw man those DC leash laws…

cute video! I actually thought there was going to be some cat kicking when I saw there was a video but I’m glad it’s just general embarrassment.

She was too petrified to kick. Poor lil thing.

7 miss. chief October 5, 2009 at 8:19 am

haha poor apartment kitty! it was like “hell no i’m not going in that garden” and then it layed down a lot. hahahaha

She did do A LOT of laying. Still, a success.

8 Mike October 5, 2009 at 8:19 am

Why would you take Chinese food for a walk? The meat will get all tough and stringy. I’m confused.

Groaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.

9 Lucy October 5, 2009 at 8:34 am

Sad, very sad! Time for children (lol)

You hush! *shudders*

10 Lil' Woman October 5, 2009 at 8:36 am

First the hats, now the leash…
That cat has you and B’s days numbered…well maybe just you cause she seems like she is sweet on B! :)

Their love is strong.

11 Daffy October 5, 2009 at 8:39 am

Boy that leash really kept her safe, didn’t it? I mean, she would’ve gone in a flash if she weren’t tethered up. Wow… maybe she just needs a little more bling. There wasn’t nearly enough bling…

I can’t believe you’re encouraging me. ;-)

12 A October 5, 2009 at 8:52 am

That vicious beast shouldn’t be allowed outside of the house. What about the CHILDREN!?!?

That public service is free.

13 pithycomments October 5, 2009 at 8:56 am

I think we should have a kitty play-date in the park. Fur realz.

“FUR”!!! Snarf. You’re so punny.

14 k8 October 5, 2009 at 8:57 am

I love how she just lays down and is like “meh.” Hahahahhaa!

This is after she SHREDDED us getting her into that leash.

15 Nickie October 5, 2009 at 9:09 am

Aw that was too cute. I love how she just chills out, like ahh I could get used to this. But the look she gave when B was trying to put her up the tree was priceless!

I KNOW. I zoomed in extra close for that one. ;-)

16 Laura at Vodka Logic October 5, 2009 at 9:15 am

My kitties only go out on leashes..to many coyotes.

This must have been the vid you were tweeting about last night. Cute

None other. Thanks!

17 Adrienzgirl October 5, 2009 at 9:18 am

I have never seen a cat on a leash before.

That is all.

You are WELCOME.

18 freckledk October 5, 2009 at 9:18 am

This may not have made my life, but it certainly made my day. How did you get a leash on the cat and not get shredded?

I have some new battle scars. Totally worth it.

19 Antoinette October 5, 2009 at 9:22 am

Cute cat. Cute dude.

The cat wanted NOTHING to do with that tree. She looked at B like “WTF?” when he was trying to put her in the tree. Cute.

She actually telepathied “WTF” to me. I heard it.

20 Julie Q October 5, 2009 at 9:24 am

the best part was when i turned the volume on halfway through the song and realized the soundtrack you picked for this beautiful occasion. too funny

It makes it alll the cheesier better.

21 justjp October 5, 2009 at 9:24 am

No one in that building will ever mess with you. They would be all, “dude, don’t fuck with those people, they can’t be trusted.” “What do you mean?” “They put their cats on leashes, so you know they are into some communist santeria crap up in there!”

Great. Now I’m gonna have Sublime in my head all day.

Better than Greenday…

22 M October 5, 2009 at 9:32 am

I don’t think she’s going to be doing any murdering any time soon, based on this video…

When B put her in the tree? That cat was terrified. Hilarious.

She’ll get used to outside if you let her out enough. That’s when the real fun will begin ;) .

Now we gotta try Murray. Wouldn’t it be funny if he was all WHEEEEEEEEEEE, THIS IS GREAT!!!!!!!!

23 cavy October 5, 2009 at 9:35 am

the tree, the flattening out on the ground like “WHAT YOU LOOKIN’ AT?” and B’s sock lines were my highlights.

next time, do this with the jester hat on too!

Oh, she tore that thing UP as soon as we took it off her. Better stop at Target for a new one…

24 Lauren October 5, 2009 at 9:36 am

hahaha! I love it! Especially where B is trying to get Axe Murderer up the tree! All I see is “climb damn it!”

that just made my monday!
:)

Two very determined forces coming together… and you’re WELCOME!!!

25 Carissajaded October 5, 2009 at 9:41 am

I’m no fan of cats, but yours just made the shortlist of cats that I respect. shes not gonna be anyone’s bitch! loved it! if you really wanna feel in control, take her for a swim in the pool…

Oooo. I need a pool…

26 Hannah October 5, 2009 at 9:44 am

Ohhh, you became one of THOSE cat owners!!!! Classic.

My favorite part is when B tries to put her in the tree. Most cat owners DON’T want their kitty up in a tree top… :)

We are definitely officially THOSE people now.

27 Lemmonex October 5, 2009 at 9:54 am

I think less of you as a person and a friend.

I *so* wanted to dedicate it to you, but unlike Maxie, I do not have the buffer of the West Virginian border to keep you from killing me.

28 Tara October 5, 2009 at 9:54 am

Oh the love between a man and his cat… I should show this to my husband and be all “Look- this dude was allergic to cats and now look at the loooovvvvee and look at the boooonnndddiinnngg. Now go buy me a kitten!”

Seriously. He tells me all the time it’s the best idea I’ve ever had. The entertainment value is priceless.

29 MJ October 5, 2009 at 9:59 am

Now you just have to get it a darling little sweater and rhinestone collar….

Sign me up. Clearly, at this point, there’s no line we won’t cross.

30 moooooog35 October 5, 2009 at 10:04 am

Did someone say ‘TETHERBALL?!?!’

Sign me up.

It’s times like this I’m glad you don’t know EXACTLY where I live.

31 Vie October 5, 2009 at 10:07 am

Oh my god. Gotta love inside cats – she really did give you guys some great “what the fuck” looks. Priceless.

She could be a Mastercard commercial! I’m just waiting for Friskies to call me after this goes viral.

32 kylie October 5, 2009 at 10:26 am

We have two of those kittie leashes. Most of our cats enjoy the time outside with them. One cat, Chubbs, goes completely limp and falls to the floor like you paralyzed him with the harness. He refuses to move with the leash & harness on. It’s hilarious!!

I’m hoping Murray will be more adventurous when we try it with him. Because you KNOW we will…

33 Lollygagger October 5, 2009 at 10:33 am

I was hoping to see A.M. with a squirrel in its mouth. Maybe another time?

There was a squirrel sighting, but she just seemed bewildered. Which is funny, because she has killed numerous flies and A LOCUST in a second flat in the apartment.

34 justrun October 5, 2009 at 10:36 am

Okay, the tree climbing bit? That’s damn hilarious.

I need to send it in to lolcats.

35 Kristin October 5, 2009 at 10:39 am

Hahhahahaha it was only a matter of time! I have been wanting to do the same with Callie but….cannot bring myself to it. She has found a new home on our screened in balcony though, she loves looking at the squirrels and bugs and such…and NOT killing them. She is so not an outside cat.

But she’s fluffy and pretty, so it’s okay. ;-)

36 Shannon October 5, 2009 at 10:46 am

hahaha love this! We have totally walked our cat on a leash. I swear Kristian is trying to turn our cat into a dog. He loves being outside but HATES the leash and will just lay down and not move if he’s on it. One time I overheard someone walking by go “are they walking a cat?!” Uh yeah WTF does it look like we’re doing.

Some people are so dumb!

(says the people walking a cat on a leash…)

37 Ben October 5, 2009 at 10:48 am

Your closet is totally getting peeed in.

Worth it.

38 Herding Cats October 5, 2009 at 10:49 am

Ha! Cat on a leash! We are thinking about attempting this with our two kittties at some point. I think it would be HILARIOUS!

Trust me, it totally was. Even through the palpable stench of shame and humiliation.

39 Kristina P. October 5, 2009 at 10:57 am

OK, since I think cats are from Satan, I had no idea that this was so controversial! Aren’t cats normally on leashes?

Definitely not. They are untamable mini lions!

40 Maxie October 5, 2009 at 10:58 am

I can’t BELIEVE that I just watched a whole video with NO murray. you know how I feel about murray.

I even have a countdown clock on my myspace “time until I get to hold murray again”

not kidding.

11 days or
264 hours or
15842 minutes or
950545 seconds

The epic… it awaits us.

41 Kellie October 5, 2009 at 11:00 am

I love how B tries to get her to climb a tree but she’s not interested b/c around 1:25 she lost the will to live. Her eyes are basically screaming “kill me now”. :)

Whatevs. We feed her, we get to torture her for our own entertainment. That’s how it works, right?

42 Just A Girl October 5, 2009 at 11:04 am

Her face at 2:01 cracks me the hell up. Also, the section in the middle where she appears to be dead for several frames.

I think her heart may have actually stopped.

43 Kendall October 5, 2009 at 11:05 am

As soon as I heard those opening notes, I started to smile. Then the pictures started. Comic gold.

Thanks, love. Missed you!

44 Summer October 5, 2009 at 11:08 am

I don’t even like cats, but that was ADORABLE.

That’s pretty much what I was going for. ;-)

45 Mr. Apron October 5, 2009 at 11:09 am

Well, that was certainly more entertaining than looking at vacation photos posted by Facebook people I haven’t given a shit about in eight years.

Yeah, Bermuda shorts & blue alcoholic drinks! WahooooO!

Right?! THIS is a slide show I can get into.

46 BlackLOG October 5, 2009 at 11:12 am

My cats, McG and Mischief are no killers – one bird between them in 10 years and I think they found that one.

All I know is if we put a lead on them :-
McG would creep up in the middle of the night and make like a pillow across our faces while Mischief would bite through the break cables on the car…..

McG? I love that.

47 Marie October 5, 2009 at 11:14 am

Be careful whilst sleeping because I think AM may just try to kill you for putting a leash on her.

It is very, very likely.

48 BlackLOG October 5, 2009 at 11:21 am

At this point I would like to claim that English is my 3rd language….
While break is an appropriate for the end result, I’m pretty sure drivers would have more crashes if they decide not to risk using the break peddle….

Oh, god Mrs B has got be correcting myself……

Haha!

49 Randi October 5, 2009 at 11:21 am

i kept waiting, and waiting for something to happen… but know it was just ALL about B’s TOTAL ADORATION of her… AND. I. LOVE. IT…

My heart… it is mush.

50 BlackLOG October 5, 2009 at 11:28 am

It’s official, English is now my 5th Language….

I now find my self attempting to sell a device that destroys your car.

Until Mrs B started editing the BlackLOG I lived with my obliteration of the language. Now I still get the words wrong I have developed a tragic ability to notice them just after I press the send button…..

I think I was happier when I didn’t notice ….

51 Skylers Dad October 5, 2009 at 11:28 am

I loved the music, but you really need an alternate version of this with cuts from David Attenburough narrating a lion stalking and killing something. That would be so full of win!

Oooooo, genius!

52 Liebchen October 5, 2009 at 11:41 am

Not gonna lie – I was never able to get behind the whole cat-on-a-leash thing, but this is kind of adorable. I only wish I could have seen the faces of anyone walking by as you did this. Priceless.

Thankfully, it was quiet. But we had to walk in the front door of our building to get back in… and uh, yeah. There was some DEFINITE rubber necking.

53 BlackLOG October 5, 2009 at 11:45 am

He seems to get credited for producing a lot of TV shows but we have yet to see a royalty check….

54 Nikki October 5, 2009 at 11:55 am

That looks like Daddy-daughter day at the park. So much fun! I don’t find cats with leashes strange at all. We used to back pack and camp with our cats.

It was strange, but in an awesome way. ;-)

55 Flora October 5, 2009 at 11:57 am

I totally thought you said “pussy” lmfao

Heh.

56 Kirsten October 5, 2009 at 12:03 pm

I want to put my cat on a leash but “Fasha” says NO. Poor thing, she loves the outdoors and sits in the lania all day. She would love it in the real world – only on a leash, she would probably run away.

Love the whole tree scene, teaching her to climb…priceless.

Rebel! Do it anyway!

57 BlackLOG October 5, 2009 at 12:03 pm

LiLu As a cat lover you might appreciate one of my older blogs The cat, the hairdryer and the big cupboard.

Why thanks, dear!

58 Nikolett October 5, 2009 at 12:04 pm

LOL oh my this is ingenius. Such a moment to remember for B and his beloved kitty, all accompanied by some Green Day. You just made my Monday :D and I left an award for you on my blog, whoo-hoo!

Awww. Love your face!

59 flora October 5, 2009 at 12:06 pm

This was great. My husband’s cat, Rozy, loves to go outside on her harness/leash. She’ll stand at the door & cry if he’s outside without her…

Haha awwww! Axe Murderer kept trying to go back inside…

60 Kris October 5, 2009 at 12:16 pm

The leash is a great idea…. Having cats go outside on their own is highly overrated…. I have had far too many regurgitated, beheaded and also LIVE creatures brought to me. Mice, shrews, bats, lizards….. You should try to catch a bat flying around your house. Go on… try it!!!! Then put that on Vimeo!!! Hahahaa!!!! OR have a lizard release it’s tail in your hand when you’re trying to throw it outside and then the lizard tail in your palm keeps wriggling for what felt like forever….. OR have a shrew bite you when you try to throw that outside and then you have to go to the doctor’s for a tetanus shot….

I prefer the dead critters, obviously.

Also:

I need coffee.

STAT.

(Me too.)

61 Children of the 90s October 5, 2009 at 12:20 pm

I totally tried the whole leash thing with my cat as a child. Mind you, this cat went on to bite me to the severe bloodiness of overnight hospitalization. Coincidence? I think not.

Now I’m afraid…

62 love lives in the kitchen October 5, 2009 at 12:25 pm

that cat is just beautiful. i love that cat!

She is our little darling.

63 Amanda October 5, 2009 at 1:03 pm

This one time, some bitch in the neighborhood picked up my cat, so he defended himself and bit her. She pressed charges, wanted him put down. But the police realized how crazy she was and just put my cat on 10 house arrest! They ORDERED us to buy him a leash and so everytime he went outside he had to be on it. His reaction was pretty much the same. Stupid. Bitch.

Cats are more fun when they’re crazy.

64 hanako66 October 5, 2009 at 1:08 pm

that was amazing

<3

65 Ela October 5, 2009 at 1:09 pm

I’ve missed you RiLu!!! Sorry I sucked last week – it happens.

Love the song choice – so perfect. Oh and that *fence passage* totally killed me. Poor little AM…just a thought but I don’t think she likes trees…but I’m sure y’all already knew that.
Happy Monday, love. xx

Missed you! :-)

66 J October 5, 2009 at 1:14 pm

Putting leashes on cats is hilarious. Because they’re all “what the fuck is THIS?!” the entire time.

I KNOW. The entertainment value is through the roof.

67 Cass October 5, 2009 at 1:17 pm

Why is no one mentioning the elevator ride? I’m still laughing over B trying to get her to climb the tree (and her look of WTF??) but I lost it when they were going to push the button in the elevator. At least she’s not techno-phobic with the buttons.

And how terrified was she outdoors? We had an indoor cat who every time we’d try to take her outside she’d pee as soon as she crossed the threshold of the doorway.

I am very, very glad that we had no accidental urinings.

68 speakyourself October 5, 2009 at 1:28 pm

Axe Murderer… maybe not so murderer-esque outdoors. That was hilarious.

She’s got a long way to go to be a killer OUTDOORS.

69 HannahBlue October 5, 2009 at 1:31 pm

Awww..cute. If only cats were as easy to go on walks with as dogs. ;)

I know! I have a feeling Murray might take to it more…

70 f.B October 5, 2009 at 1:36 pm

It was so poetic. When she’s trying to scale the wall, just below the air conditioner, it’s like she’s trying to climb to freedom.

I know. I kind of wanted to use some sort of victory song instead, but she wasn’t very… victorious.

71 Alice October 5, 2009 at 2:07 pm

OH GOD. the look she gives the camera as B is trying to get her to climb the tree is freaking awesome. the “JESUS CHRIST. I TIRE OF THIS” look.

That was definitely my favorite moment.

72 Chelsea Talks Smack October 5, 2009 at 2:21 pm

OMG. hahahah AWESOME. Dying.

You’re WELCOME.

73 Ella Unread October 5, 2009 at 2:27 pm

I <3 her.

You and me both. ;-)

74 Nona October 5, 2009 at 2:28 pm

A.M. totally had “WTF!” written all over her face when he tried to entice her to climb tree. You would have had even more great shots if she climbed it and he went up after her.

Seriously, in my other secret life, I wrote a newspaper article about a couple that wrote a book about leash walking cats. I would be happy to send you the book since I have no use for it now. My cat has the “WTF!” look as his default reaction to any suggestion of exercise.

I want an other secret life! Way cool.

75 Gabbi October 5, 2009 at 2:28 pm

Too cute! I tried taking George out on a leash/harness once and it was impossible! :) He kept trying to take it off…

With AM it seemed to paralyze her. HILARIOUS.

76 Shelly October 5, 2009 at 2:38 pm

Haha so funny! The BF takes his parents’/family cat out on the leash and his dad gets so embarassed when he does it!

Oh, it was horrifically embarrassing. BUT SO WORTH IT.

77 Kristin October 5, 2009 at 2:43 pm

I think you’ve been replaced.

I know, right?! WTF!

78 Brooke October 5, 2009 at 3:07 pm

Hahaha…This is hilarious and adorable. It reminds me of the time my brother ordered a sugar glider (flying squirrel thing) from the internet, and we decided to put it on a leash and let it “fly” around outside. I think it was just confused…or stupid. Probably both.

Wait. It was live?? HOW DO I GET ONE???

79 Jena October 5, 2009 at 3:17 pm

I especially like the part where B tries to make Axe Murderer climb the tree. You can lead a cat to the tree B, but you can’t make it climb.

*SNARF*

80 Wonderful October 5, 2009 at 3:35 pm

Freakin’ adorable!

I thought so. ;-)

81 Elizabeth Marie October 5, 2009 at 3:42 pm

I had the tiiiime of my liffffee watching that.

Holy shit.

I do what I can. xo

82 Sassy Britches October 5, 2009 at 4:14 pm

Axe Murderer has the patience of a saint. And wishes she had a blog.

And opposable thumbs.

83 repliderium.com October 5, 2009 at 4:30 pm

Why don’t your videos play for CANADIANS???? Is it the fault of homeland security? Donald Trump? That uber annoying Oprah?
Fine! Be that way! I’ll just sit here licking my maple syrup lollipop in my goddamn igloo pretending I’m not pissed about not being able to see “Soap-on-a-rope The Cat edition”

Emailed! xoxoxoxo

84 AnnQ October 5, 2009 at 4:48 pm

LOL! Totally makes sense…love it. :-)

I used to have two ferrets, and would take them out on leashes (I know – totally weird, but they loved it!). One day some NUTJOB stopped and asked me ‘what kind of dogs’ they were.

Oh. My. Lord.

I sincerely hope lightning struck them down shortly thereafter. DARWIN.

85 fgrngtllt October 5, 2009 at 4:51 pm

up until this moment i had no idea there were leashes for cats…not only do you cause me to pee my pants with every post…you teach all sorts of new/weird /wonderful and exciting things…god bless you lilu

Awww. You are my new favorite!

86 She October 5, 2009 at 4:52 pm

I love the part where (he?) is in the tree. So adorable!

Now that song is going to be stuck in my head ALL DAY LONG.

So is a reverberating sense of nostalgia for high school ;-)

87 Chiquita October 5, 2009 at 5:04 pm

You never disappoint! Priceless :)

Thanks, love!

88 bodelou October 5, 2009 at 5:08 pm

fabulous!

theres nothing quite as great as torture. or is there??

thanks for stopping by my blog. ive added you to my google reader. ya know the one that owns me.

Thank you so much! That is the highest of compliments ;-)

89 repliderium.com October 5, 2009 at 5:15 pm

Just so you all know- Apparently Canadians can’t view cats on leashes. Stupid CIA or FBI or Asshat down the street- whatever.
Lilu sent me a separate link which means that SHE LIKES ME BEST BITCHES!!!
PS- The vid rules!

Duh I like you best. Shhhh- don’t tell…

90 Katy October 5, 2009 at 5:28 pm

Lol very cute. Tree part was my favorite.

Mine, too.

91 Toe October 5, 2009 at 5:32 pm

Oh my, what next the outdoor cat enclosure?
Found here: http://tinyurl.com/y8nk98b

Or Here: http://tinyurl.com/ybw6tmb

Come on, you know you want one! Could you imagine murderer loose in a habitat?

OBVIOUSLY I WANT ONE. Brilliant!

92 amanda October 5, 2009 at 6:19 pm

hahaha. cat on a leash!

touching…totally touching. especially the last frame!

93 katelin October 5, 2009 at 6:39 pm

i’m pretty sure you have the most amazing cats ever, haha.

love this.

94 James October 5, 2009 at 6:49 pm

So nice to see cats outside, even if they’re on a leash. It might seem a bit cruel, only letting them get outside occasionally and on a leash, but I think it’s great that they get some time outside =]. My cats are so much fun when they’re in the garden, though we don’t have them on a leash… Mind you, that’s because we live in a quiet village and not right on the road.

tl;dr version: So cute, I approve.

95 Jules October 5, 2009 at 6:55 pm

I’m TOTALLY for cats killing things – I mean, I have six cats and I point bugs out to them daily – but the leash…. I may have to stop being friends with you now.

Sorry.

96 caroline October 5, 2009 at 7:09 pm

love your choice of song, and the pics are adorable!!! your such good kitty parents!! :) lol

97 Witless Fool October 5, 2009 at 8:27 pm

lol, have always been a dog person myself but your cat is simply adorable. @1:16, hm…. if I climb through this fench w/ the leash, will he follow? Absolutely luv it!

98 spleeness October 5, 2009 at 8:31 pm

I was scared to watch this, thought I’d witness something getting horribly mauled despite the leash (listening to “it’s something unpredictable…” only added to the suspense) — tells you I’m always expecting the worst!

Srsly, that is soooooo adorable! My favorite? Kitty and your sweetie peeking out of a tree. How cute! Your lovie looks a little like Adam Carolla.

99 Cheddar October 5, 2009 at 8:51 pm

Wow. That made my day. I never knew there could be “cat people.” I always assumed cat persons lived in a constant state of solitude and urine. Proven wrong. Y’all are meant for each other.

B + Axe Murderer + LiLu + Murray = tru wub 4ever

I particularly loved when B was “helping” Axe Murder climb the tree.

Tres awesome.

Okay, 1st… I think he needs a dog. 2nd… they are too frickin cute in the damn tree!! You should bottle this up and sell it to old ladies!!!

You are so domesticated!

103 alissa October 5, 2009 at 9:13 pm

ok im jealous.
i have a 17lb cat. and everytime we go to the vet she gives me this look like im the shittiest cat owner that ever lived. and then i get a lecture about letting my cat get this big and blah blah. so she always tells me to get a leash and take her for walks. in downtown kansas city…
anyway i try this. my cat has lost it. completely freaked. ill never try it again.
if i did im pretty sure she would have a heart attack and id like to know what my vet would think of that? hoochie.

105 hopefull phoenix October 5, 2009 at 9:38 pm

Oooohhh. That was hysterical and adorable.. It’s a wonder you two can still sleep with your eyes shut!
Makes me miss my Chester. He used to hang out the bedroom window..(no, literally!) There are pics… But please don’t make me ask the ex..
thanks for making my day, yet again!!

Oh My Fucking God, A HARNESS too!! That’s F*Amazing!! I love it too much!!

107 Meghan October 5, 2009 at 10:26 pm

They make cat harnesses now with Velcro clasps. I think this could lead to new era of not losing a pint of blood for cute cat harness videos.

That was completely adorable. Both of them are completely adorable!

110 emily October 5, 2009 at 11:56 pm

totally cute!

we had a leash for our cat and it served as some sort of kryptonite for the cat. she could barely walk. it was so weird. we would put it on her when we needed a laugh. we’d put a cat treat at the opposite end of the room. she would make several attempts at getting it because she fell over every few steps.

Clearly the little murderer was heading for the cover of the flowers so she could stake out her prey…omg….I have started to think like a predator…

112 coolasfolk October 6, 2009 at 2:16 am

This is the best thing that’s happened to me all day.

And that’s saying a lot because I’ve had an amazing day.

113 ryan October 6, 2009 at 3:34 am

this is why cats are awesome. cant believe people eat them.

114 Chelle B. (offendedblogger) October 6, 2009 at 3:52 am

That was quite adorable. Kitties are soooo cute and yours is cuter than average which makes it muy cutisimo in my book.

However… am I the only one who was totally freaked out by the scary tree face at 1:58? It looked like it wanted to eat your kitteh. :0

115 K @ Blog Goggles October 6, 2009 at 5:45 am

Boo. Freaking slow Hong Kong internet connection means that the video keeps crashing my browser. Any chance it’s on YouTube?

116 Megan October 6, 2009 at 7:58 am

Such a sweet love between B and Axe Murderer.

I need to buy a leash for Loki.

117 MJenks October 6, 2009 at 9:17 am

Something about cats on leashes always amuses me. I guess I just like how they ratchet up that “fuck you” quality of their evil, piercing stares.

118 mandy October 6, 2009 at 6:05 pm

She looks so happy with her new found freedom.

119 Sebastian October 8, 2009 at 9:32 pm

I can’t believe you put a leash on Axe Murderer :(

In other news, my blind cat Eric looks like he’s on his last legs and will soon be departing this world for Furry Heaven. Alas!
