Lazy Sunday morning on the couch (you’re SHOCKED, I know…)
Me: Do you want anything?
B: [Indignantly] I want a lot of things!!!
Me: Ha, well… do you want some water?
B: Yes, I want some water! That’s one of the things that I want!
I get him some water, and grab a blanket on the way back to the couch, which I wrap around me like a burrito. It’s cozy in there. Don’t judge me.
B: [Mutters under breath] Blanket hogging wench.
Me: [Laughing] You want a blanket? I’ll get you your own damn blanket. THAT’S how nice I am.
B: Good! This was another one of the things I wanted. I mentioned multiple things!
Me: All right, well that’s TWO things now.
B: Hey, can I have the remote?
Me: THREE!!! I think my work here is done.

While watching the Tudors… which, if you don’t know, mostly takes place in a castle.
B: [Looking around living room] You know what we need in here? TAPESTRIES!!!
Me: ……….
B: Yes! I was right about the Oriental rug, wasn’t I?!
Me: I don’t even know you right now.
B: [bouncing on the couch] TAPESTRIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This continued to be his battle cry for the rest of the evening.

Trying to convince me to watch one of his smart person shows on the Discovery Channel (yanno, instead of the Tool Academy that I so love and adore)…

In the bathroom, I’ve noticed that he is repeatedly closing the drain in the hand sink.

B: How would YOU feel if a cold metal thing was up your butt?! YOU WOULD NOT LIKE IT.
Murray ignores the little sense afforded to him from his three brain cells that SHOULD tell him to fear water.

Kittehs do love some sink sleepin’. When I was growing up we used to have a sink sleepin’ kitty who would only move when you turned on the water and then he would demand you let the water run so he could have a drink. (He was also the cat that liked to go out on the sailboat. Even though sometimes he’d fall off and have to catpaddle til we could tack around and pick him up).
I would pay good money to see the catpaddle.

As in one day, we almost hit a butterfly with his big man-truck. And I was like “dude, we almost hit that butterfly.”
Without skipping a beat, husband immediately assumes the persona of the butterfly, starts flapping his hands as though they were little butterfly wings and just blurts out “well fuck you too then.”
Now sometimes when we almost hit other insects, one of us is sure to say “well fuck you too then,” while flapping our hands…
