This is one I’ve been wanting to share for a while. Natalie Portman is not only one of my favorite actresses, she’s also the one I am most frequently told that I resemble. Which is, of course, absolutely ridiculous, but I’ll take it all the same.
Consequently, I was super glad to see, ahem, ‘another side’ of her, when I first stumbled across this SNL sketch. (Apologies if you’ve all seen it before, but I think it’s worth sharing for those of you who have not. It’s that shockingly funny.)

I guess doing Leon/The Professional (AKA one of my top three favorite movies of all time) at such a young age did have an impact on her, after all…

I've always loved that video. Getting told you looking like Natalie is such a compliment. I always get told I look like the kind of celebrities where I'm not sure if I'm being admired or insulted.
OMG, the first time Nick stayed over when we first started kind of dating we were lounging around in bed in the morning and I was all, "let's watch youtube videos of wiener dog puppies doing cute shit" and he was like "OKAY! But first, this," and then he showed me the Natalie Portman video. We got engaged like three months later, mostly because he showed me videos like this and made me laugh and stuff. And now every time I see her, I think "I love you Natalie," and imagine her reply: "I wanna fuck you too!" Thanks for this … I'd almost forgotten about it!
