High School Hilarity, LiLu Style

by rachaelgking on May 27, 2009

So about a forever ago, K @ Blog Goggles tagged me in a post called “High School Hilarity” to post a picture of myself from a prom or dance in my teenager days. I promised that the next time I traveled home to MA, I would raid my mother’s scrapbooks and produce… and I am a woman of my word.

In fact, I’ve taken a picture from each year, and TWO from Freshman year, just because they were just too hilarious to choose between. And because I love you guys.

Numero Uno, Freshman year:

Please notice the braces and terrified smile. This was maybe because I’d just stabbed him 80 times trying to put that damn boutonnière on his jacket.

My mom finally had to do it.

Sexxxxxy.

Freshman year part deux:

This was the junior I somehow got up the nerve to ask to MY freshman dance. Ah, upperclassmen… Luckily he was too much of a gentleman to take advantage of me, though I sort of wished he would at the time… what?

And I don’t know if you can see them, but I would like to note that I am wearing enormous, chunky, black nylon strappy sandals. You are WELCOME.

(Please to also notice my hair is the EXACT SAME in both Frosh pictures. Way to be creative, LiLu.)

On to Sophomore year!

Braces are off, which is a start… I think I also managed to get the boutonnière on all by my big girl self this time. Still all knees and elbows, but we’re getting there. And the hair is a big improvement.

Junior year!

This is the high school boyfriend of four years- the one from the “Little Red Corvette” TMI Thursday (among others). Do I look sad? Maybe a wee bit pissed? Yeah, that could be because I CAME HOME FROM SCHOOL THREE DAYS BEFORE MY JUNIOR PROM TO FIND ALL HIS PRETTY, PRETTY HAIR SHAVED OFF AND HE DECIDED TO TELL ME THEN WITHOUT ANY WARNING BEFOREHAND THAT HE HAD JUST SIGNED UP FOR THE MARINES.

But, um, that’s a story for another day. (Also, yes, he is totally wearing a top hat. Klass, baby, all klass.)

Finally, all growed up, Senior year!

Seeing as my boyfriend was a marine in Okinawa, Japan, AND high school proms are sooooo laaaaame (when you’re 18 and STICKIN IT TO THE MAN!!!)… a group of my friends and I just all went together. And it was the best prom ever. And not JUST because of the miniature Sutter Home wine bottles I had in my purse.

Now, I’m supposed to tag some peoples, of course, but honestly… it would just really, really make my day if every single one of you did this. Come now, if we can’t laugh at our 16 year old selves… well, then at least let all of US laugh at you!

LYLAS, KIT, and 2 gr8 2b 4gotten!!!

See you at the pool this summer,

LiLu

XOXOXOXOXOXO

Funny…I just posted pix from high school last night on FB…LOL…and I linked the album in my blog…though I gotta scan more of them in.

You were cuuuuuuuuuuute. HAHA

2 Lemmonex May 27, 2009 at 1:37 pm

My junior year picture HAS to be the best. A plum colored dress with an asymmetrical hem and a huge blond streak in the front of my updo.

I have always been PURE KLASS.

3 Maxie May 27, 2009 at 1:37 pm

oh god i am so doing this. why don’t i have the pictures here with me?!

4 Rachel May 27, 2009 at 1:38 pm

Awesome. And your freshmen pics aren’t bad at all. You make me look like a 5-year-old.

5 SassyLittleGinger May 27, 2009 at 1:41 pm

OMG this is too much fun. i think we are all guilty of black satin chunky open toed sandals. don’t worry.

i think i might have to do this too… awesome idea!

6 SassyLittleGinger May 27, 2009 at 1:43 pm

the best part is probably that in your freshman pics you won’t even touch the guy. i did the exact same thing in one of my pics, we stood next to each other with our hands folded… my mom still makes fun of me for it.

7 brookem May 27, 2009 at 1:47 pm

look at you! i love this. your HOH in the last pic is really cute, by the way.

if i had any effing clue where all my gems of horror were, i’d totally rock this. ill check around this weekend!

8 Tee aka The Diva's Thoughts May 27, 2009 at 1:49 pm

LOL!!! I love those pics!!!! This is a great tag! Great post girly.

9 Matt May 27, 2009 at 1:49 pm

You have weird taste in guys… obviously you like the ones with swirley faces.

10 Liebchen May 27, 2009 at 1:56 pm

Ahh…LYLAS and KIT. Makes me want to look through my old yearbook. And I do have some stellar prom pics…

11 Hopers May 27, 2009 at 1:59 pm

My formal photos from high school are truly horrific. But, just for you, I will see about digging them out.

12 Kate May 27, 2009 at 2:00 pm

I can’t see the pictures because I’m at work. Hrmph. And here’s some total dork-dom. I NEVER WENT TO PROM. I was too shy and I refused to go without a date. So there. I am the ultimate freak.

13 justjp May 27, 2009 at 2:04 pm

I love seeing pics from High School, especially the ones where I had long hair. I am talking long blonde burnt surfer hair. Alas, we get old. My 10 year is this month, boo.

14 Racquel Valencia May 27, 2009 at 2:10 pm

Hahahaha those are awesome. You’re adorable.

15 liferehab May 27, 2009 at 2:18 pm

Your senior year dress is gorgeous!! And you look adorable in all the pictures!

16 Lexilooo May 27, 2009 at 2:20 pm

aww, adorable. also, the blue dress from sophomore year- I had a similar one in yellow that from a dance!

17 Krystyna Lizabeth. May 27, 2009 at 2:20 pm

i feel like i shouldn’t do this because i am only 18 and high school was just a year ago for me.
that is not enough lee way time to make fun of myself.

18 KassyK May 27, 2009 at 2:26 pm

I am so doing this as well. Its perfect…I have Kate Beckinsale up for May Crush and next to it, ME AT 16. Lovely contrast. Ha.

19 Children of the Nineties May 27, 2009 at 2:31 pm

I definitely stabbed a guy or two with a boutonniere, that was probably not the right way to stick it to the man.

I’m pretty sure I have your freshman hairstyle in most of my dance pictures.

20 Mich May 27, 2009 at 2:37 pm

WHAT???????? how do you have so many proms or what ever you want to call them?

we got 2. jr high (grade 9) and high school (grade 12). BAM! thats it.

hmmm this was fun though. im going ot have to see if i can find some of my pics!

21 Kristina P. May 27, 2009 at 2:40 pm

If these are your hilarious, embarassing pictures, I will NEVER post mine. Wow.

22 KassyK May 27, 2009 at 2:43 pm

PS–We also only had a Senior Prom.

My class voted to ixnay the Junior Prom (no Freshman or Sophmore Proms thank GD because I looked like I was 12 until I was 16) and use that money for a SICK Senior Prom.

It was like the Hills.

You managed to make it through the awkward years pretty darn cute lady.

23 Deutlich May 27, 2009 at 2:44 pm

You know what? I might could find some old photos of myself and perhaps may even post ‘em.

Maybe.

Also? Thank you for the giggles. Old pictures are always good for a laugh only because we ALL have crazy funny photos from back then and it’s a relatable topic.

24 Sarah, The New Girl May 27, 2009 at 2:44 pm

haha aww those are cute :) love the stories. now I want to look though my high school box… I’m sure my pictures will be much, MUCH worse than yours.

25 verybadcat May 27, 2009 at 2:44 pm

You are aging like a fine wine, darlin’! ;)

I needed a good excuse to uncover my scanner and get out the photo albums, and you just gave it to me.

26 shine May 27, 2009 at 2:45 pm

Now I’m going to have to go dig up some pictures. Although, I think the only ones I have are from Sophomore year homecoming. Maybe a senior prom picture. But I was only there for about 45 minutes.

27 Suburbia Steph May 27, 2009 at 2:46 pm

Wow…my high school ex (who was also my first husband) pulled that same shizz with me – but he went into the Army. Then his ass got sent to Germany!

I never went to my prom. Someone did recently post a pic of me from homecoming my soph year – I’ll have to use that one…..maybe.

28 moooooog35 May 27, 2009 at 2:48 pm

I had no idea you went to school with the entire cast of “Jacob’s Ladder.”

29 jen - tsk May 27, 2009 at 2:49 pm

Its such a shame the stanky leg wasn’t around then! I would’ve loved to have seen you doing that bad boy in your fancy dresses! I don’t suppose you still have those?? x

30 HannahBlue May 27, 2009 at 2:57 pm

Nice pictures! I like your dress in the last one!:)

31 K_Streams_Her_C May 27, 2009 at 2:59 pm

These are hilarious. OOOOH high school photos. To be young again… sigh. Not.

32 Sarah May 27, 2009 at 3:05 pm

I love the “in front of the fireplace” official photo spot. These are great!

33 Gladys May 27, 2009 at 3:19 pm

I would love to post some pictures of my high school prom but since I lived “Footloose” and we weren’t allowed to have proms or dance or have crushes on Kevin Bacon, I have no prom pictures. I do have a horrifing TMI of the Who’s Who banquet. No pictures thank GAWD!

34 Serena May 27, 2009 at 3:29 pm

Love that dark blue dress!

35 Colby May 27, 2009 at 3:29 pm

Well played. Um.. . . my proms were in the last years of the 80s and early 90s(yes. I’m old). The photos have all been burned, but perhaps I have others that could be displayed.

36 repliderium.com May 27, 2009 at 3:36 pm

I love the scarf in the marine pic. I’m going to go dig some of my horrific ones up…….(uh, pictures, not scarves.)

37 alexa - cleveland's a plum May 27, 2009 at 3:37 pm

i’m majorly impressed that you have all of these pics!! i wouldn’t even be able to find any of them.

my favorite part in the pissed off pic was the sash around your neck. gosh i remember when those were ultra cool.

38 meleah rebeccah May 27, 2009 at 3:38 pm

I think you look GREAT in all of the pictures. But, in comparison, you are standing next to some pretty creepy looking swirly faces.

And you Growed-Up nicely.

“And it was the best prom ever. And not JUST because of the miniature Sutter Home wine bottles I had in my purse.”

That made me laugh out loud.

39 WickedCourtni May 27, 2009 at 3:40 pm

These are nowhere NEAR as funny as PQ’s on her page. Just saying.

Q– NOW I am done.

40 Smart Mouth Broad May 27, 2009 at 3:48 pm

Awwww, I think you’re cute in every single one. Have I mentioned I have a daughter your age? So adorable! Those were the days.

41 miss clover May 27, 2009 at 3:59 pm

maybe it’s early, but i think you look the same as now. and by that i mean genuinely cute.

i guess before i looked at the pictures i was thinking you went to high school in the eighties, but then i realized you’re not, like, forty.

42 Del-V May 27, 2009 at 4:00 pm

My high school ex-girlfriend is bat-shit crazy. I should post our prom photos along with a warning for others that she’s a psycho. Kind of like the FBI posters at the Post Office.

43 Kate May 27, 2009 at 4:09 pm

Sadly, I think all of your high school pictures look better than most pictures of me today. :)

44 sheila May 27, 2009 at 4:29 pm

It’s amazing to see a person grow up from year to year isn’t it? I marvel at that about my daughter all the time. And what’s with the swirly faces? lol.

You looked great in all the pics.

45 Miss Rosa May 27, 2009 at 4:30 pm

OMG I love these kinds of photos. They tell such a fun story and make me think of all the ridiculous things we used to do at dances and stuff!

46 Shannon May 27, 2009 at 4:42 pm

LOVED this.

47 mo.stoneskin May 27, 2009 at 4:51 pm

My gosh.

I’ve never seen so many sufferers of spiral-face-syndrome. Either you attract them or you shoved their faces into a magical vortex.

48 Meghan May 27, 2009 at 5:04 pm

The pics of you are really good, and I love your hair/dress in the last one! My highschool didn’t have proms. I feel jilted. I’m off to buy a prom dress now to wear to the bar to make up for lost time.

49 Blondie May 27, 2009 at 5:20 pm

oh man, I will have to dig up my pics and post them..you don’t look bad in them though!

50 SoMi's Nilsa May 27, 2009 at 5:46 pm

You definitely look happiest in that last photo. And I’d tell you I’d participate, but I pretty much skipped all but one formal dances in high school. I hated them. The same guy asked me pretty much every year. And pretty much every year, I told him no. I’d set up baby sitting gigs instead and smirk as my girlfriends freaked out about who they’d go with, what to wear, how to get there.

51 Titania May 27, 2009 at 5:49 pm

Those pictures are great!! And I am not posting pictures… My excuse: they are all in the other hemisphere. Anyhoo, went to high school during the80′s and they wonderful fashion sense. Some picture may exist of me in very big fluffy dresses with very big fluffy hair somewhere…

52 JFo May 27, 2009 at 5:51 pm

Riiiight, my HS pics (and especially pics from dances) are for my own personal self deprecation.

53 Princess of the Universe May 27, 2009 at 5:53 pm

We don’t quite do things the same way up in Canada- but I am definitely tempted to scan some old photos and post them in honour of this. My high school grad night photos were kind of awesome (or awful?)
xo

54 Fizzgig May 27, 2009 at 6:09 pm

this is a fabulous idea. especially since I seem to have some seriously ugly dresses compared to yours.Mine were bought at acme click. (this is a store where they also sell produce out in my neck of the woods)

i cant say you look bad in any of them, but yes you look sad in the second to last one lol

55 Alice May 27, 2009 at 6:13 pm

oh my LORD but these are awesome.

i, uh, only have pictures from the one (1) prom i attended in highschool. i was WAY not cool enough to get invited as an underclassman, and i was studying abroad during junior spring, which was the first time i could have invited someone myself. which would have had to happen if i’d wanted to go. oh, highschool. le sigh.

56 inkpuddle May 27, 2009 at 6:14 pm

Those are great. I didn’t have prom or homecoming, so no pics from me. Come to think of it, the only pictures I have of me before this year (no joke) are from when I was like, five. :)

57 Angela May 27, 2009 at 6:32 pm

I definitely have some photos. Oh high school…

58 amindinmotown May 27, 2009 at 6:40 pm

Classic photos. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll have to share one…

Prob not though. Don’t hold your breath!

59 Christina_the_wench May 27, 2009 at 6:48 pm

I puked Tanqueray gin at the meal BEFORE the dance at my junior prom. Yeah, I’m just that damn good.

60 Kristin May 27, 2009 at 6:49 pm

You’re such a QTpie!!! Love it!!

61 ...love Maegan May 27, 2009 at 6:53 pm

LOVE IT!!

..I like how you swirled their faces …I didn’t know what to do about showing other peeps I don’t talk to any more on my blog? I mean, I did the same but really …what are the rules?

62 FoggyDew May 27, 2009 at 6:53 pm

Someone’s grown “up” a bit since high school. Probably all that good southern cookin’. We did a photo mosaic for my uncle a couple years ago. I had to scan about 5k of my family’s pictures to include all the prom pics. My sister in 1980: priceless. My brother in ’89? Even more priceless.

63 Sadako May 27, 2009 at 7:03 pm

Haha, very nice. The swirled out faces on your dates are scary, though!

64 Mr. Condescending May 27, 2009 at 7:30 pm

what does B say about this nonsense!? I think you should put his prom pictures up there too!

65 ♥Caroline♥ May 27, 2009 at 7:51 pm

I would have loved to do this if i had ever had a date or a boyfriend in school. Never went to any dances…*sigh*

66 prettylittletangents May 27, 2009 at 7:53 pm

No fair! You were beautiful all throughout high school. If I didn’t love you already I’d have some serious haterade right now :)

Funny, my senior year my boyfriend was a Marine-in-training at Parris Island. But I brought a boy *friend* to my prom – ha ha!

67 Mr. Apron May 27, 2009 at 8:12 pm

Jesus Christ. Thank God I never went to any formals in high school, so there is scant embarrassing evidence of my gawky, emaciated existence.

There are, however, ample photographic trails from plays I was in at that time.

However, I only got into Gilbert & Sullivan post-high school. Consequently, I look gayer in the photos from the shows I do now.

68 floreta May 27, 2009 at 8:25 pm

you’re so cute!

69 Belle May 27, 2009 at 8:26 pm

I have already posted a prom picture with a while crazy curly mane of a hair-do. I dont have too many from my high-school years because they are um still undeveloped and stuffed in a bag with about 20 other rolls of film. But I am sure I can find some other funny ones.

70 Elizabeth Marie May 27, 2009 at 8:27 pm

Love it! You didn’t really have an awkward stage…bitch. :)

I am never doing this. NEVER!!!!!

71 LiLu May 27, 2009 at 8:49 pm

PQ: You are a pea in my pod, hooker.

Lemmonex: If you don’t post that, I am going to email your mother and request.

Maxie: DO IT!!!

Rachel: I guess we all had braces, at least ;-)

SLG: You better! Find one with the black satin chunky sandals, too….

brookem: I know- why won’t my hair do that now?? xoxo

Tee: Thanks, love.

Matt: What can I say, they just do it for me.

Liebchen: Bust ‘em out, woman!

Hopers: Please, PLEASE send me the link if you do…

Kate: Everyone was a freak or a geek in high school, my darling! Revel in it.

justjp: I think I speak for all of us when I demand to see that hair.

Racquel: So innocent… (WTF happened??)

liferehab: I do love that dress. Thank you!

Lexilooo: I think there are like, 3 models for prom dresses… we all had one of them ;-)

Krystyna: Fair enough. You get a pass. But ONLY you.

KassyK: Oh, hilarious! And thank you :-)

Children 90s: It’s so NINETIES!!! Get it?

Mich: I think I went to 10 proms in high school. And they were ALL awkward. Redic.

Kristina P: Oh, come on! Laugh at yourself… I let everyone laugh at me!

Deutlich: Do it do it! Bring them on Saturday!

Sarah, TNG: I spent like 3 hours going through photo boxes at home. It was great.

verybadcat: Oh, you BETTER! And I am totally using that “fine wine” line.

shine: 45 minutes is long enough to have a tacky picture taken…

Suburbia Steph: I demand to see it!

moooooog35: What, now I have to go watch that, or something? Sheesh.

jen-tsk: I’m sure we had far, far worse dances…

HannahBlue: I love that dress, still. Apparently I didn’t have bad taste in EVERYTHING ;-)

K: NOT is right!

Sarah: My mother forced me to take ALL of them there… so tacky.

Gladys: I believe you. And I think that’s a post, right there…

Serena: It’s not half bad, is it?

Colby: Big hair, please!!!

repliderium: The scarf was to make me look extra deathly-pale. Look at it go.

alexa: I had more, too. My mother was CRAZY about pictures.

meleah rebecca: I’m not even kidding. Merlot, I think.

WickedCourtni: Now I kind of can’t wait to see them…

SMB: Looking through these, I realized that no… it definitely wasn’t nearly as bad as I remember. :-)

miss clover: Thank you so much- I’ll take cute any day. And I WISH I had crimped my hair! I totally used to have a crimper…

Del-V: Eh. ALL women are crazy, in my opinion. We’re just different brands.

Kate: Bullshit!

sheila: Thanks, love! The swirlies are to protect the not-so-innocent.

Miss Rosa: Let’s get nostalgic! :-)

Shannon: Thanks, babe.

mo.stoneskin: Spreading faster than swine flu!

Meghan: You are WAY jilted… can I come?

Blondie: You BETTER! And I’m sure you look adorable.

Nilsa: You didn’t miss much… and you saved your mama a LOT of money.

72 LiLu May 27, 2009 at 8:49 pm

Titania: PLEASE tell me puffy sleeves were involved…

JFo: No fair! You didn’t even have bad hair like girls do!

Princess: I scanned them at work this morning. Don’t tell…

Fizzgig: I am going to google Acme Click now…

Alice: Such angst, no? (And you should totally post those…)

inkpuddle: I love kiddie pics, too ;-)

Angela: Do it! Do it!

amindinmotown: I will be stalking you to see…

Christina: You are a CHAMPION. P.S. I hate that your blog is private and I can’t see it…

Kristin: Cya l8er!

Maegan: Yours were awesome too. I figure the swirly is fair, no?

FoggyDew: I hope you mean “up” and not “out”… I might have to hurt you.

Sadako: They are kind of creepy… it’s fitting. Ha!

Mr. Condescending: I guarantee you he doesn’t have any… I could ask his mama, though!

Caroline: Eh, you didn’t miss much. Awkward dancing and underage drinking. You can do that in any basement.

PLT: Aw, thanks! You are crazy but I appreciate it. And I always had more fun with friends, anyway.

Mr. Apron: Oooo, I have “theater photos” too… but those aren’t nearly as funny. Just dorky.

floreta: Well THANK you, darlin!

Belle: I remember well the tribulations of curly hair before I learned to tame it…

Elizabeth Marie: Oh, come on! Don’t be such a SKERDY cat!

73 rs27 May 27, 2009 at 8:56 pm

You blossomed into a flower by your senior year.

You could take that a lot of ways.

74 G May 27, 2009 at 9:11 pm

The guys were lucky!

75 Marie May 27, 2009 at 9:25 pm

You actually look adorable!

I actually don’t have pictures from high school proms. Well, only from my senior prom.

And no way in hell anyone is going to see those. Why? Hint: my skin was tomato red and I was wearing a lilac dress. ‘nuf said.

76 Kellie May 27, 2009 at 9:31 pm

I think you look great! I did this and I look like a geeky little girl w/ way too big of hair. :) I was really skinny then though which was nice. Haha! These were great!

77 Lady Jane May 27, 2009 at 9:36 pm

Um yeah…my dresses..were definately a sign of the times!!!! I’m a wee bit older….well not that much..maybe a little…well I still act like I am in my early twenties!

78 Jules May 27, 2009 at 9:41 pm

Top hats are hysterical when high school boys think they rock! You were a cutie girl!!!

79 drollgirl May 27, 2009 at 10:09 pm

i like that you are always next to the swirly-faced sucker people!

80 Katelin May 27, 2009 at 10:57 pm

oh man i don’t even want to revisit some of my hs dance picks. my dresses were ridiculous. oh boy.

81 Bon Don May 27, 2009 at 11:12 pm

OMGOSH How cute are you in those pictures!!? You are so lucky that those dresses are still cute!@ HAHAHA

82 redheadedjournal May 27, 2009 at 11:56 pm

Looking back on old photos is so funny. I love the swirled dates faces! :)

83 Hanako66 May 28, 2009 at 12:19 am

love these!

I was tagged by her too but haven’t found them yet….it is coming!!

84 Spellbound May 28, 2009 at 12:32 am

You are just too cute in all of them. I sometimes wish I had pics of my HS dances but my parents did not approve of same and did not take any pictures of me. It’s kind of nice because I live with the illusion that the aqua and blue strapless ruffled thing made me look like Cinderella and the black form fitting cocktail dress made me look like Marilyn Monroe.

My daughter went to senior prom with a female friend because she just broke up with her boyfriend. Years later some guy from her class asked her if she was still bi.

85 Brian May 28, 2009 at 12:43 am

Instead of swirling their faces you should have photoshopped it to make it look like the dudes’ flys were all open and their junks were hanging out. Sorry, this was the most productive comment I could think of.

86 Eric May 28, 2009 at 1:08 am

Nice pictures, very photogenic.

So, for your junior year, he picked you up in the park instead of at home???

87 Mandy May 28, 2009 at 1:12 am

These are great. I ditched every single homecoming and prom except my senior prom when I went with a bunch of my friends. I havent looked at those pictures in years.

88 oregoncitygirl May 28, 2009 at 1:41 am

i cant believe you went to prom that many times! only upper classmen were allowed to go. (however, my senior year all the junior guys asked sophomore girls). i boycotted my junior yr and like you got up the nerve to ask a guy to my senior one. i love your dress in the last photo.

89 Dr Zibbs May 28, 2009 at 1:54 am

Just wanted to let you know that because I love your head(er) so much I just mentioned you (again) on my super duper famous blog.

90 Kate Coveny Hood May 28, 2009 at 2:10 am

You look lovely and I was quite impressed by the freshman year up dos. Sadly – the clunky shoes are not visible – but that’s one thing I can relate to since I was in my 20s during the big fat heel era and have many fond memories of stomping around in them.

This swirly face thing though… It disturbs me. Very Twilight Zone.

91 SassyGirl May 28, 2009 at 2:17 am

Love your dress in your final year – you look like a princess! But you looked good even with braces. I’ve never had my hair up ever. Isn’t that sad? Maybe for my wedding…

92 Just telling it like it is May 28, 2009 at 3:07 am

Your hair is not nearly as high as mine was during the high school years…and I think I had puffy sleeves oy

93 fiona May 28, 2009 at 3:28 am

Your beautiful kiddo!
Some things never change ;0)

94 ClaireMontgomeryMD May 28, 2009 at 3:34 am

junior year lilu scares me a little. you two look like the grim reapers. and now i must go dig out a picture of me in my gone with the wind hoop dress. stuffed with socks for boobage.

95 amanda May 28, 2009 at 4:38 am

oh how i heart prom time!

Just a question…does Sophmore year date have a penis for a chin on purpose? Just askin.

98 Elizabeth Marie May 28, 2009 at 8:00 am

It….came.

hahahahaha!

99 Jassie May 28, 2009 at 9:58 am

Haha, whilst I would love to do this we unfortunately don’t have a prom or anything here. Just year 10 and 12.

I love the dress for your sophomore year. :)

1) I totally wore that first baby blue dress to my freshman homecoming. Not. Joking.
2)Even though I wasn’t tagged (whatever bitch) I’ll do it anyways. But be forewarned……. I was slightly frightening my junior year.

101 Just Playing Pretend May 28, 2009 at 1:13 pm

Haha!
I’m going home tonight actually and I’m going to look for mine. I have a couple of doozies…

102 ChinkyGirLMeL May 28, 2009 at 2:14 pm

Awww you look so beautiful. But then again, you always do. =) I love your dress in the last picture. =)

rs27: I’m going to take it as a compliment. A slightly askew one.

G: Aw, thanks!

Marie: Yeah, lilac was NOT my color either. Why do we do this to ourselves??

Kellie: I’m actually shocked I didn’t “crimp” my hair…

Lady Jane: You’re only as old as you feel, my love ;-) and you’re right at 22 or so.

Jules: No one’s surprised I was dating the class clown…

drollgirl: I know, so weird, right? :-)

Katelin: You have to! I command it!

Bon Don: I know- I didn’t do that badly on the dresses! Thanks Mom…

redheadedjournal: It was an artistic touch ;-)

Hanako66: It better be!

Spellbound: Oh, wow. Close-minded, much?

Brian: Haha- and productive it is. If only I was that technologically advanced…

Eric: Nah, that was my front yard. Hellloooo, boonies.

Mandy: You should… I was surprisingly nostalgic :-)

oregoncitygirl: I think I went to like 10 dances… it was ridiculous. But fun!

Dr Zibbs: I may have to take you up on that challenge…

Kate CH: I wish the chunky shoes were visible- it’d be SO much funnier.

SassyGirl: Eh- updos are like $50 and so not worth it. But DEFINITELY for your wedding!

JTILII: HOORAY for puffy sleeves!!! Haha!

fiona: Aw, thanks love!

Claire: We do look scary, don’t we? I was not a happy camper.

amanda: Awkward posing is what prom’s all about.

Nashe^: I love that one :-)

Anonymous: AHAHA- I never thought of it that way…

Elizabeth Marie: YESSSSS!!! Now the important question… did YOU?! ;-)

Jassie: Simple but relatively elegant, for a gawky 16 year old…

WuTang: Oh, I can’t wait to see this…

ChinkyGirLMeL: Aw, thanks sugar! xoxo

So freaking glad you did this. I mainly like the black sash junior year. It made you look way sophisticated. :)
