If you have not yet decided to jump on the Bloggerational Ball bandwagon, there is still time. What better way to kick off the new year than at a huge party with, um, all of US? Together? Drinking? That’s what I thought.
The party is Sunday, January 18th, in honor of the Inauguration of our President-Elect. Katherine of Who Invented Roses, Restaurant Refugee and I are throwing the shindig, so you know it will be a well-coordinated and dignified event there’s going to be plenty of debaucherous stories to tell. Are you implying there are bloggers out there that don’t have a drinking problem? I think I’m offended! I am still tempted tho I think I might just be climbing into a very deep and hidden hole that whole week/end… with internet access.
I think the DC/MD/VA scare tactics are working, however. More people have been telling me they aren’t going to bother trying to make it to DC for Inauguration because of how crowded it’s anticipated to be.
And if I’m attending, then I don’t think that anyone within a hundred mile radius really has any excuse.
Then again, I do have a slight problem with impulse control.
