I visited the New Orleans zoo once and, because you can walk around with beer there, I got a little drunk and tried to climb into a pen to pet some of those little guys…. I forget the exact taxonomy but they looked a lot like those little motherfuckers. Cute in an ugly way. I wonder if they bite.

I want one. But I really don’t want one. Is it possible to have a hedgehog grandkid? One you can visit with, enjoy and then leave to its mom and dad?

LPF: I’ve often thought about fostering animals to get my fugly/squdgely/aminamally fill, but I know I would fall in love and each and every one would end up in my wee apartment permanently.
