in Always Sunny is God, i am dying

Woke up horribly, horribly ill. Coming out both ends ill. Coming out both ends BLACK ill. (Gearing up for TMI Thursday tomorrow.) Dry heaving is so sexy. Thank goodness I knew exactly what I wanted to write today and started it yesterday, because that’s all you’re getting. Excuse me while I go hug the porcelain god as I sob gently…

So, I know I toot the horns of Sunny and Mad Men. I’ve tooted them all over the place. But I must toot one more. Ffffffweeeeeet…

Things I love in this world: Food. Drink. People who love food and drink. And, of course, sitting on my ass in front of the television. While drinking.

Therefore, as it combines all of these lovely elements into one big mess of joy, Top Chef is my favoritest reality show ever of all time. And finally, FINALLY, Season 5 is here.

I cannot. freaking. WAIT.

If we’re friends, you better watch it. Cause I guarantee I won’t be able to talk about anything else tomorrow. WOOT!

Mad Men really is amazing. I can’t get enough of it and now I’m going to have to wait a long time before I get another season…sigh.

Oh, AND STOP PEERING INTO MY SOUL!!!!!

Maybe if you didn’t do all the drinking and eating in front of the tv that you do, you wouldn’t end up waking up with it coming out of both ends? No. That’s obviously the wrong explaination. Bad chinese?

Poor Lilu – feel better :(

I hope you feel better soon.
I too am can’t wait to watch tonight. The best part about the season premier is that it is so easy to spot the schmuck who was cast while everyone laughed “poor bastard won’t last a day.”

I hate, hate, hate that Canadian TV won’t show the new season for at least a few months. Pleeeeeeeese don’t spoil me. Pretty please.

Hope you feel better soon…

Quick recovery please.

Thoughts: You want to WHAT to Betty Draper?? Wow, it’s dark in here…

Jules: Too much fun, courtesy of my Masshole friend down here. What can I say? Bostonians know how to do it.

Fiona: Cheffetish! I love it! Almost as much as I love Tom…

Lem: Thanks, darling. I miss your guts.

Refugee: Oh, hells yes. Let’s pick our horses tomorrow…

Zip: You should do something to ensure. Might I recommend eating some bad sushi?

Fearless: I’ll write anything about Top Chef in redneck, so you can’t read it.

Lisa: You should know that whenever I write something bathroom-humor-y, I think so myself, would Lisa write that? You’re my too-gross barometer.

66: Thanks, darling. Thinking of you- hope everything’s good on your end.

I keep hearing about Top Chef. I have never seen it, might have to check it out.

Feel better.

Watching Sunny on demand for “free” is almost worth forgiving Comcast for being Comcast.

Top Chef might be even better – just because each episode is twice as long and is about food. Quick-fire challenge with a bag of rocks, Uncle Ben’s 90 second rice and a papaya? Anyone?

I’ve been doing a desk dance of anticipation all day.

LBluca77: Do yourself a favor and definitely do, if you’re anything of a foodie I guarantee you’ll love it.

f.B.: Welcome! And yes, I’ve probably seen every single episode of Sunny 3 or 4 times now.

Jordan Baker: The first quick-fire better be AWESOME!!!

I want to do insanely sick things to Betty Draper…who doesn’t? Oh, and that red head. Good god!!!

Luckily for you (and me), the network here got itself together and is actually showing Top Chef at the same time as the US. Spoil away!

20 freckledk November 13, 2008 at 3:10 pm

I DVR’d it and will watch it tonight, so I guess I need to avoid your blog for the rest of the day.

Hope you feel better, Kitten. I’m here if you need ginger ale and saltine cracker delivery.

Thoughts: Joan Holloway is truly a work of art.

Brookem, Kristin, LMO: Thanks for the well-wishes. I feel MUCH, much better today. Solids even look slightly appetizing…

Fearless: GOOD. Poor, poor Patrick. He didn’t stand a chance.

Frecks: Thank goodness the worst of it is over and I’m back to my sarcastic, ornery self. :-)
