This, while it makes me totally jealous in my pants, is one of the coolest things I’ve seen on the interwebs in a long time. It’s what said webs are really about, after all, at least in my little mind- bringing people together from all over the world, allowing us to come in contact with more of our fellow mankind than has ever been possible before. (That’s right people, I’ve got all SORTS of schmoop up in here for you. I’ve got more schmoop than you’ve ever seen.)

Love it. Happy weekend, everybody. Don’t forget to get your dance on.

I like the song as well.
Seeing the kids dancing makes me smile. When my cousin was around 3, we would always dance together. He is too cool now at the tender age of 6, but I will always think about those times in his basement, laughing and throwing ourselves around like fools, as some of the happiest of my life.
Ya know, I don’t even care for dancing, either watching or participating, and this is one of the coolest videos I’ve ever seen.
I’m so glad y’all think so too- a tiny part of me was like, am I crazy? Why does this make me so happy?
But I truly believe its simplicity is beautiful.
This looks like a new video, but this guy has been around for a couple of years, at least. On his website you can probably see all his other videos (the first one he did it on his own, then got sponsorship later).
Beach Bum: I know how I’m spending my Friday afternoon…
I love this. And I’m always dancing so this made me smile.
And even…weep a bit?
Ah, I’m a mushball too!
KassyK: That’s why I love you. I had to fight back the misty eyes. It doesn’t really fly in an office of twenty bulldogs- er, I mean men.
I love the DMZ in Korea and the one in New Guinea… this is pretty cool, especially when the people come running in from both sides to join the party.
Agreed- if only the guard in the DMZ had danced with him!
Thanks for making me smile when I really needed it! *sniff*
I howled with laughter at the guard in the DMZ. Priceless.
Liv, thanks for posting this. The next time I’m feeling a little down I know exactly where I’m going.
And Kas, there’s nothing wrong with getting a little weepy eyed. Not that that would ever happen to me…
FEARLESS: I know, that was definitely my fave part.
Foggy: I might have played this like 23 times yesterday. I’m not saying a gentle tear slid down my cheek every time. I’m also not NOT saying that.
I love this. I keep watching it and it does choke me up a little.
