THEREFORE, here are my three of my favorite blog posts (from non-friends)- in the comedic vein- of all time. They are, essentially, the three women who inspired me to start blogging, and I’ve read so much of what they’ve written that I think I’ve probably crossed over into that weird place where you kind of think you know someone? That you’ve never met? Just from reading their blog? But really, you don’t. At all. Take a step back, please, ma’am. We’re going to have to ask you to stay behind this line. We’ll get you an autograph if you coopera- HEY!!! GET BACK HERE!!! LOOK OUT, SHE’S GOT A SCARF!!!
It’s just a gift. I swear. So they’ll have something to remember our warm summer nights.

haven’t seen that since I used to write letters (you know like with pen and paper, put it in an envelope, put a stamp on it and mail it at the post office? those kind of letters) to my BFF who moved away (by away I mean to a town 20 minutes away, light years away to a 5th grader)
16 paws: I know, right? I heard it somewhere recently and was all, OMG, and spontaneously transported back to 5th grade. No kidding, I had a crimped side ponytail and everything. Why are you looking at me like that? It’s my pants, right? I thought socks over stirrups was cool…

Amalah really inspired me to start blogging and inspires me in general. She makes me believe I won’t be a totally boring piece of crap when I have kids.
Lem: I know, she’s amazing- I tried to find the post where she had a picture of Ceiba and captioned iti can has sausage or something and the picture is so funny I used to just look at it over and over and LOL like I was deranged or something. Oh wait.
And Ass-Stain? I’m fine with it. As long as you’ll wipe me afterwards.
