So, despite the fact that I have sort of “settled down” in one spot with an office job that is essentially chaining me to DC (even though I love it here thus far- we all know I’ll get bored), I’ve decided that I’m going to go out of my way this year to visit a bunch of different cities/locations in the US that I haven’t ever been to before, and hopefully a few abroad as well. So far I’ve added New Orleans (woooo Mardi Gras!) and Miami to my facebook “where I’ve been” map (ha! no really.) I’m heading to Savannah, GA for their St. Paddy’s Day celebration, which I’m absolutely thrilled about. Apparently they have one of the biggest bashes in the country; I remember a group of my friends abruptly leaving Spring Break in Key West to drive the many hours to Savannah just for St. Paddy’s Day. Being Scotch Irish, I feel it is my duty to go experience and have a hellagood time at this party.
My best girlfriends and I are hitting the coast of the Dominican Republic in May… and I’m traveling to Nashville, TN to watch them run a marathon in April (and possibly another one in Charleston this spring.) We have tentative plans to do a 2 week Mediterranean tour in June, I’ve got to visit Thomas in LA this year, and my 25th birthday will be celebrated in style… in Las Vegas, Nevada.
